VRipper (Cross-platform Gallery Ripper)

I'm not sure. I'm using 3.5.4, as I'm more accustomed to it's gui. I tried using 6.4.0 once, but quickly switched back to 3.5.4. So I'm not sure about late versions. Alls I know is that the DDoS Guard prompt right before opening your first IMX hosted image that's suppose to happen with a fresh browsing session doesn't trigger with the VRipper. That's what's hindering the downloads from IMX. Like I said earlier, my personal workaround for this is to use an actual browser extension to download the images on the page. That means that you'll be downloading the pics from the browser itself, not from an external app, software, program, exe, or whatever. Hope this makes sense. This way you can manually (this is the key part) trigger the DDoS check (something VRipper doesn't do), and then let the downloader (that's linked to the particular browser) rip the entire gallery. In other words, if you don't trigger the DDoS check, you can't open/access/download the image. And (as far as I know) the VRipper doesn't perform that check. Hence, no check, no access, no download. Hope this makes sense.

Try post #406 from this very thread to get everything you need. Remember to leave a like and rep for our good friend Progishness for suggesting that exact same combo. Been working for me ever since he posted that 3 years ago.

However, this morning I did get VRipper 3.5.4 to download a few sets from IMX. I manually forced the DDoS check and it worked afterwards. I'll look more into it and feed back. (I'll need to run some tests with different IMX sets, i.e. newer vs older sets, etc.)

Not only is it working, but viperripper is now finally downloading the galleries that were failing and put on hold for a couple weeks now... hopefully it's not a fluke though.

Hi Jolio, I am not able to find the success you have had with viperripper. Are you using anything extra to get it to work? VPN or something? Thank you (It was working up until a few days ago.)

Open that link in the browser and you see the image has been removed.
Latest Vripper works for me just fine as long as the content is actually online.

imx.to threads are not downloading for me again. Using 6.5.7 on Mac. Even tried using VPN.

I think it stopped working a few days ago when I clicked on a imx.to thumbnail and it did that browser ddos check thing if that helps.
