It's not that the background is in the background, it's more that the background exists at all that is depressing. We have the same problem over here as well, mankind thought it was a great idea to put ugly pieces of concrete in some of the most beautiful places along the shore.Some photographers of People Image / WALS are ordinary girls that take pictures and sell to the agency.
