Maybe it became a "woman" only recently. You got to give the hormone therapy a chance to kick in. The surgery was the hard part but it is relatively quick. The hormone part is easy but it takes a long time. It may look as a passable "woman" just in time for retirement, from the looks of these pics. Wasn't it all worth it,, in the end though?...
