Dani Mathers is our Miss May 2014, and she’s on top of the world – not to mention south of the border – in this jet-setting set from photographer Josh Ryan. A busty blonde with a toothsome smile, throaty laugh and delightfully dirty sense of humor, Dani has been one of our favorites from day one – so when it came time to choose our Miss May, we knew the choice was hers. “I’m fortunate to be a friend of Josh’s outside of Playboy,” says Dani. “One of our mutual friends has a house in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. When I found out that I got Playmate, we were going over themes for this month’s pictorial, and I thought, why not shoot in Cabo? Two weeks later, we had our plane tickets.” Josh and his team treated Dani to a beachfront villa, where they lavished her with sun, sand and all the attention fitting a Playmate. “It was so hot on set that I was sweating in all my nooks and crannies,” jokes Dani. “And sand in all my cracks. But behind me was the most beautiful beach I’d ever seen, so I tended to forget about it. I couldn’t wait to roll around in that sand.”
