Can you just download the streams using a browser addon/IDM? Any difference in allowed quality vs. the dedicated download button?

Side note, does grooby allow prepaid visa cards to sign up?

I don't know about the second question.. but I would say there is definitely going to be a quality difference in the streaming version vs download version. Streaming files have lower bitrate than downloaded ones. It's not too much of a difference really.. at least to me.. but some people prefers absolute best quality. So, I bet they won't be happy with those.

Personally, I think crf 23 is enough for a good quality.

Grooby's payment system accepts VISA card - at least credit-card - Unless its the bank (in some regions, a bit everywhere on the planet I'd say) have restrictions - the most common type have to do with currency, which means: you are in a country that is not USA and your card can't pay in USD - but again: this is the bank's issue, not VISA cards' or Grooby payments.

I am using a Visa card to pay for my membership, and when I registered/paid (still does), and from the looks to me in the billing: it doesn't mattered at all as long as it is a visa card for their system.

Unless you are using a debit-card and it shows you are under 18, that is a absolut NO GO (I know some wanker tried with it elsewhere, ended got card number banned by the system), otherwise there shouldn't be a problem at all.

I still don't understand why so many US websites refuse to accept debit cards! If the service you're subscribing to is monthly recurring, then of course credit card is needed; but even for one time payments, most US websites refuse debit cards!!

Maybe someone from the US can enlighten about this!

I can think 2 reasons:

1) the debit-card is not USD-based, and can't make the transfer.
2) the banking-system BANS transactions to porn sites.

The first one is local bank's issue, the second one is either the bank's issue + the ongoing bank-service-denial in the US politics recentdays, AVN.com has mentioned this happening too nowadays together with the anti-porn trend in thepolitics, but it is a thing nevertheless.

Heck...Steve Grooby had some special payment service opened for Southeast Asian bank-service just to recieve payments in recent yrs...this speaks the problem.

Initially I wanted to download the image-sets, but...can't do nothing from here in China (I tried all the possible ways there is I can think of, nothing!).

I know some countries - like Sweden - issues debit-card to 12 year olds, so I guess it is a age-verification issue via the bank way before this it is a thing with porn-sites (Sweden acturally allows 15 yrs old to view porn by the law, not not buy vodka prior 21), so I guess the system in the US simply just denied every non US debit card - since (porn and no-porn) the service needs to verify the buyer's age - in this way...

And so in China, banks issue Visa debit-card that just can be used in Hong-Kong and Macao only (not even Taiwan)...these cards can't purchase online whatsoever - so it is a bank-issue for most non US part.

But these US based sites do accept American Express based cards, or pay-by-mail if it is a US post-adress if I'm not mistaken...

Well, you are not wrong man...this IS a thing for quite some while - acturally this is one of the point being made why the recent "Age Verification" thing is a failure by Free Speech Coalition speaking against those "AV-laws"

I'll explain: A couple months ago I desperately wanted to see a scene from Joeys Trans Feet girls. I was actually prepared to pay for it since believe it or not scenes from Joey's are reasonably priced. But before I tried to buy it I decided to download the trailer. Big mistake. They somehow know I downloaded and now I'm banned from there. I can look and watch trailers anonymously but if I sign in with that account or a new one they instantly know and I get flagged. Grooby has got to have this same tool I'm thinking.

What tool did you use for downloading? I don't think it's possible to detect downloading with browser addons.

Also, clear your cookies for that specific website & see if it's working.

Let me guess...

You're new registered, and it happened within 3-6 when that happened? so there was no download-button for you - and you clicked the play button and tried to download the video??? and you account get banned?

If YOU registered & paid for the account then you can try contact support (be nice, just say you did a mistake etc etc...usually works)...If its a "borrowed" accound, then I am afraid you are fucked...because they do track unusual log-in and unusual downloads and will have you banned if it happens - usually treated as a stolen account...

Also, The way you descrpbed it...? It doesn't sound like a Grooby Site & how they operate with the downloading nowadays (all Grooby site operates on a same style system), because I use Internet Download Manager all the time - and it works fine, nothing of the sort happened to me.

So, if you don't mind...can you take a screenshot how it looks for you when you try to download a video? caz from the sound what you've said - either it seems very NOT-grooby site-ish, or: you account have some serious issue...

I mean: if it is still a sting & unsolved (and it is your email & your bank-card used when registered)...

I said that I planned to do just that. But in order to even see the price details you must make an account first.
I did that, downloaded the trailer and when I went to buy the photos and video I got a message saying this:

and there IS a grooby-site called https://www.joeystransfeetgirls.com, and "joeysfeetgirls" is not under Grooby-site umbrella...

Okey...this is whay you do:

1) Do as Version365 says, clear the cookies etc. and see if it works.
2) try contact support of "joeysfeetgirls", not Grooby and see if you can have the ban on your lifted...if you can, rip from there, if not...
3) BEFORE YOU REGISTER GROOBY...

- See if the set you're looking for is on http://groobyod.com first
- If not - and I know it is the video you're after - Read this before you register as I have written above - caz its is the new rules for downloading videos now applies across all Grooby Sites.

Caz If you register today on any grooby site like today+now, you'll have to wait until 5th or 6th January 2027 - depends on your time-zone - to be able to download a video!
