The full phrase is: Pretend bravery is still bravery. One of the most addictive aspects of my work is exhibiting and being around people who exhibit fearlessness. Ember Volland is exemplary in this regard. I am quite certain she had fear. In fact, she told me she was surprised how much we were able to get away with at Austin's historic Driskill Hotel. The difference between her and most others is that she did not let fear control her actions. That sort of thing is contagious.

Gillian Barnes is a beautiful woman who has done some modeling here and there since she was 15 years old. She is 20 now and I discovered her on a recent trip to Arizona. Aside from her feminine surface, she describes herself as a tomboy. She loves adventurous activities like surfing and hang gliding. I read a review of Zishy that some person created the other day. He/she belabored on the point that Zishy girls were not glamorized and done up as they are on porn sites. That fell under the 'cons' section of the review. For the most part, I just show these girls in clothes that they wear and personally appreciate. That being said, Carmen Callaway has a sense of style. It's kinda goth/slut/lolita. I pressed her for info on where she shops and Carmen pointed me towards Nasty Gal. If I didn't have that whole Y-chromosome condition, I'd probably shop there for myself. Anyways, these photos were taken at Carmen and her gf's one bedroom Hollywood apartment. Then, we went to Chipotle Mexican Grill and sneaked a few shots while customers were preoccupied with E. coli in their barbacoa. Congrats Bronco fans. So far, Denver has been a very enjoyable destination for my Zishy adventures. I met Yulia Sosnova there just last week. She comes from a Russian family and has wicked contortionist skills. Even though her stoner days are behind her, Yulia liked the idea of accepting The Bomb Head Shop's invitation to use their store as a backdrop. Clarence and company are super friendly and helpful. My first interaction with Amarna Miller was when she emailed me from Spain, asking how she could model for Zishy. Travel to Europe was unlikely for me at the time, so she proposed that she take photos of her friends for my site. It turned out that I found Amarna to be the most photogenic of the bunch, and eventually, the conversation fizzled out. Several months later, Amarna reaches out saying that she is in the US. We set up a time and make a plan for some mischief. Amarna is an intelligent artist, writer, and hardcore porn actress. Deal with it.

I'm glad that all humans aren't the same. Some are playful and slightly twisted like Portia Kincaid. We found this red leotard at a thrift store, and even though it had a rip in the crotch, Portia loved how it looked and felt on her body. She had no problem teasing the camera, nor the strangers in the gym. If you ask me, she was also getting high on her own supply.
