In the summertime, when the weather is hot ... we all go insane and choose to give our money away to multi-billion dollar corporations that run resort casinos in Las Vegas. The upside is that they provide interesting backdrops for photographing beautiful women like Jazz Reilly. Here, we did some exploration of the pools at the Cosmo. Part of me feels at home in Vegas. Safety, obscurity, just another freak in the Freak Kingdom.

It took me a while to get Heidi Bichette to model for Zishy. Sometimes these experiences require the conditions for a perfect storm. The moons of confidence and adventure have to be aligned in a girl's sky. Heidi is twenty-one and is in college studying Psychology. She had these two great items in her wardrobe and instead of picking only one, we decided to double down on the black lace theme. Hope you enjoy our thoroughness. Uma Jolie can rap. I asked her if she could demonstrate in a video clip. She obliged with "Man of the Year" by Logic. We only did one take and there was no rehearsal. The results are not perfect, but what Uma did took guts, and that is perfect enough for me. These were taken at a Marriott. Uma's friend tagged along and apparently had no idea what type of photos we were taking. Guess Uma operates on a need-to-know basis with others.

Good artwork is like good cigarettes. It does not have to be marketed well for the public to want it. Being good is good enough. That being said, I do not smoke tobacco. I heard somewhere that it is bad for you. I did give it a few tries when I was in high school. I would meet with some friends outside of the Circle K, a convenience store next to our campus. We would smoke, gossip, and eat junk food. Smoking did not take, but Cheetos did. I still love those. I do wonder if it has to do with the MSG in their seasoning. Avri Gaines is a rare one from Florida who has a healthy appetite for fun in all of its unhealthy forms. "Nina" by Felix Da Housecat is the song in the bonus video.

The world craves blonde girls. That is probably why Nola Barry has been flown around the globe for modeling gigs. This spunky young woman surprised me with her Victoria's Secret figure and down-to-earth personality. If I had her looks, I would be more diva than a young Scarlett O'Hara. Here, we visit a couple of stores in the Japanese cluster on Sawtelle in West Los Angeles. It is a great place to find good deals on sushi, boba tea, shaved ice cream and Japanese knick-knackery.

We initially thought we would have loads of time to take our pictures. But that text message sent us into a flurry. I had Nola scramble on the bed in this skimpy bodysuit and fired away for a few minutes. Haste makes waste, but sometimes when the ingredients are as good as Nola, you can come away with a few gems.

Maria Turova is the first girl that I ever published on Zishy. Her face, her smile, they make even a jaded heart like mine's swoon. After her temporary visa expired, Maria left back to Russia years ago to finish her university studies. She told me she would return, but I was skeptical. People often get a taste of LA and then return to wherever and resume their previous lives wherever. Not Maria. Her modeling ambitions survived frigid winters in St. Petersburg, she returned, and is now earning her wings as an Angeleno. More Maria to come. Los Angeles always has something going on. I glanced over a few local news sites before I picked up Elizabeth Marxs, Turned out there was an art show taking place in one of the hangars at Santa Monica Airport. Food trucks, live Brazilian music, and bad art. Count us in. After that held our attention for a while, we discovered a sort of aviation museum across the street. Took a few risky pics in there, then, Elizabeth hopped in the car for some backseat-parking-lot masterpieces. I love art.

After I took these photos of Holly Lebranche, I forgot a bag of my gear by the pool. I was quite fortunate that someone found the bag and held it at the building's reception desk. The security guard handed back my property with a wink, which I found peculiar at the time. Then I recall, the building has security cameras monitoring the pool deck. Can't ever forget about the eye in the sky. At least someone had a good day at work. Eh, Mr. Guard?

I knew you were a devil when I first set eyes on you in the Target parking lot. Your colorful jazzy style immediately hinted at the rare personality housed within. I asked if you wanted to take some adventurous photos and you said, "Why not?" I had you choose some items in the store and I met you at the fitting rooms. We kept the noise to a minimum, respectfully avoiding the one-person-per-stall policy. I wasn't lying when I said you reminded me of a young Jennifer Connelly in the film, Career Opportunities. Then, Anastasia suddenly appears and steals the show. At times, it can be frustrating that not all females are as open and free and brave as Anastasia. But then I realize, it just makes women like her and moments like these all the more wonderful.
