imgbox problems?

I have been getting security alerts trying to access images on imgbox. specifically, images2.imgbox.com. I use macos with chrome and safari with and without Adblock and tampermonkey. Also do not get images with safari only broken image links when using imgbox.

Anyone else having issues with this host?

Security alerts sounds like you have some application scanning links and marking them as unsafe. The browser may be the culprit of this. Curious though as images2.imgbox.com stores the physical images and not website data and therefor could be considered safe.

Also, I'm not getting any problems. I searched VG for "images2.imgbox.com" and checked some posts and they worked for me.

Recently moved and got a new service provider, xFinity. This morning I got a security message from them when I tried imgbox. Updated my security settings on their network webpage and everything seems to be working now. Had Spectrum/Time Warner before and never had that come up before. Weird.

Your provider most likely uses a blacklist which contains blocked domain names. The imgbox domain may be listed there, for example if it was once reported for containing inappropriate material.
