Looks like imx.to is down ATM.
$ ping -c 3 imx.to
PING imx.to (91.215.42.202) 56(84) bytes of data.
--- imx.to ping statistics ---
3 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 2032ms
Well never thought this could happen. I just tried to download a set and VRipper just closed as soon as I copied the link (was using 6.5.1 when this happened) Then I installed 6.5.4 and the same thing happens all over again as soon as I copied the link it would close. Thought maybe it was my firewall or my AV nope...Am I missing something? I'm using Windows 11 with a VPN set to a British server.
BTW I downloaded the set with BID no problem...

Same problem here, can't download imx.to
Sharing is Caring LP
No download from imx.to since 2 days.
Log:
Failed to download https://imx.to/i/6xxxxx: #2 tries failed
------------
me.vripper.exception.DownloadException: me.vripper.exception.HostException: Unexpected response code: 403
Those are all IMX.to problems. Post it in the appropriate thread.
The post is in the appropriate thread. If they're having issues with VRipper, then the appropriate thread is VRipper regardless of image host. The point is to connect with other members of the community discussing VRipper related issues and experiences.
If they're having issues with an image host such as using the hosts API, web interface, issues with manual uploads etc, then they would be welcome to post in that particular hosts support thread.

Am i Missing something - I downloaded vripper 3.5.4 for windows - extracted - but when I press the V icon it just seems to buffer - Can someone help
Using VRipper 6.5.3 on imx.to galleries has been a real drag for few weeks now. Two weeks ago using a VPN to Belgium and other European countries like France, Switzerland, Luxumbourg, etc. (but not Germany) worked great, but that stopped. It's like the roll-out of Cloudflare's (CF) DOS nanny stuff hadn't got there yet, but it's there now.
So I did some thinking - how does CF "know" that I'm using VRipper vs. just looking at the images one at a time? CF is monitoring browser connections to the server and when it "sees" an IP downloading multiple images, it blocks the traffic.
So I set VRipper to "1 Concurrent download per host". But it still blocked me. More thinking. Ok, it "sees" me jumping image to image faster than a human could possibly be clicking on links, and it blocks me. So I need to go slow.
Enter the wonders of the VPN world. I use Proton and it defaults to connecting to the fastest server, but I looked for the slowest. Proton's Pakistan server has 0% utilization, which means no one is using it, and that is probably because it's SLOW!
It works, VRipper downloads slowly (like 70 Kb/s vs. 1 - 3 Mb/s on US and Euro VPN servers) but it must be staying below CF's "radar" because eventually, the galleries get fully downloaded. So I can't have my gallery tonight - no problem! I'll look at it tomorrow.
Now what will happen if a bunch of downloaders with Proton VPN jump on Pakistan? If Proton doesn't detect the traffic and upgrade the server it probably gets slower. This is not necessarily a bad thing. Patience can us get past CF's draconian watchdog.
A real nice upgrade to VRipper would be a "throttle" that would let me set a delay between image downloads. Then I could use faster VPN's and still avoid being blocked by CF. After all, they are not watching the speed that I download one image, but rather how many images I ask for in a some arbitrary time frame.
I'm not sure if my success is also dependent on this, but I have a feeling it is related. I usually look at an image to decide if I want the gallery. A Cloud Flare verify sometimes pops up. I type the characters or click the pics or whatever they want. This tells CF that I'm "human" and that has to be logged by the IP address that the server "sees" on its side of the VPN. Then when I have VRipper slowly ask for the gallery, CF "thinks" I'm still human.
Now to add more crap to this, know that CF does not "think". They probably sell their "services" with claims of "AI, AI, AI" but that is bullshit. It's just a computer program. It does not think - all it can do is compare values to other values, like how many download requests for image files come from my IP in some time interval. I have been writing computer programs since 1972 and not one of them has ever had a "thought". I do the thinking - like how does CF's nanny determine that I'm a bad guy that it should block. That's thinking and computers can't do that. They can scan crap posted on the Internet and sometimes it can look like they figured something out, but they also say they like Hitler. Sorry for ranting. I don't get out much.
(BTW - I also use a 10 second timeout and 2 retries in VRipper's setting. So it doesn't take forever to get through a gallery with a lot of missing pics. I often restart a gallery that shows errors, and sometimes I even get the missing files.)

IMX.to is working again. So no issues so far.
I'm not sure how that is right, when VRipper seems to not be able to down from IMX, I use another program called Bulk Image downloader, and it works just fine on the same links
I'm not a coder, but I don't think that was right either. When the DOS is enabled, Vripper does not work. I've switched to Pale moon and IHG, and that works. My guess is because IHG and BID use the web browser and Vripper does not. As pointed out, the DOS is verifying whether a browser is present or not. Until Vripper can spoof that, it will not work. Just a theory...
