3.5.4 from Git compiles and works flawless for me on Win7/10/11, didn't test it on 8.

Thanks Gorgonzilla, it's good to know it works on Win7. I don't have the smarts to compile my own, so I got my copy from SwissTransfer, I hope it's the same as the one you tested from Git.

Anyway, I tried the v3.5.4 on a different network and it worked. I guess it's a problem of Fastweb network.

For anyone trying to build their own jars using Docker, it seems that one of the dependent modules has been updated and no longer builds with jdk11, it now needs at least jdk16.

Using the updated commands work correctly:

Desktop version

git clone https://github.com/death-claw/vripper-project.git
cd vripper-project 
docker run -it --rm -v "$PWD":/usr/src/app -w /usr/src/app maven:3.6.3-openjdk-17 mvn clean install -Pelectron -DskipTests

Server version

1) I lost my 'vripper-3.5.4-linux-x64.AppImage' (pilot error). A working download link would be a wonderful. Thanks.

2) I tried building from source, successfully created "./vripper-electron/target/vripper-electron-3.5.4.jar", and the others. Running "java -jar vripper-electron-3.5.4.jar" results in "no main manifest attribute, in vripper-electron-3.5.4-electron.jar". Clues on what to do next appreciated since I'm evidently clueless.

Hey guys, Happy New Year

Just a quick q:
Currently on Mac and have been using version 3.2.0 of VRipper.
The last thread I downloaded was a Nikia A megathread and I decided to give up on it and cancelled the download halfway through. Ever since then, the clear completed option seems to only work partially.

Here's what happens every time I re-open VRipper.
Those recently downloaded threads just stay there on the list and even though I can clear some of them via the aforementioned clear completed button or by rick-clicking on them one by one manually, they re-appear again whenever I re-open the app.

For anyone that can make sense of this, here's the error message:

I only use the server version, but I have had the same problem in the past, my fix was to delete the database.

there should be a folder named 'db' somewhere, probably in the same directory as the jar file, with the following files in

vripper.log
vripper.properties
vripper.script

stop the application and delete that directory, it should fix it but your download history will be gone too.
