Another alternative for downloading photo sets is ImageHostGrabber (IHG) with the Pale Moon browser - it has never failed me yet, nor has it ever given me idiotic DDOS-guard warnings.

Kreecher, I also have BID. Is there a trick to making it work with posts from this board? Every time I've tried to paste/load a link, it just spins but doesn't find any images.

Between the official BID support pages, online discussions, and at least one or two YouTube videos, I tweaked some of the settings and definitions in the configuration menu until it worked. It was long enough ago that I can't find them to reference as a suggestion. The biggest thing is to identify a host it happens on and add it in the configuration tabs using the suggested formats (like *, **, <*>, etc.). I don't understand the purpose of them at all so I can't explain or suggest any in particular.

It works. You just have to open one of the photo links, and keep it open while IHG downloads. Then the set will download

Try Jdownloader2 the way I described above:
First, the setting: Packager - Predefined rule: Create subfolder for each Packagename must be clicked off. Then I relaunch Jdowloader2, as the effect won't otherwise turn on.
Then, instead of copy/pasting the page link, I "paint" the gallery by mouse", copy paste everything to JDownloader2 and voilá, everything downloads to Jdownloader download directory.

This seems to be working at least for me I believe the reason is that it doesn't try to read the image links from the Vipergirls web page, like in the case where you copy just the page link from the address bar to VRipper or BID. Instead, if you have "painted" and copy/pasted the image links, it reads the information directly from image host, as in this case you are directly accessing the imaghe host without accessing Vipergirls.

As I earlier said, when Vipergirls has DDOS-guard on to protect the site from malicious attacks, and it is occasionally on, you cannot access the imagehosts through Vipergirls page address. It just does not allow it. Even Jdownloader2 cannot access the images though vipergirls site address, but it at leas gives non-cryptic error message "Blocked by DDOS-guard". But above trick works when DDOS-guard is on.

Thanks again for posting this pornorer. It does require a bit more effort than the simplicity of just using vripper, but it seems to work great.

VRipper started to work again for me last night and right now for a few threads and then in my browser i got that fucking DDOS check and now its back to not working!!!! I hope this is being worked on, grrr....

No you don't. Just select all the icons (by "painting" with mouse) you want to copy, hit CTRL-c and paste the whole bunch to Jdownloader2 linkgrabber and start download. They'll download to your set download directory. But you need first to uncheck the setting "Packager- Predefined rule: Create subforder for each Packagename" and restart Jdownloader2 to take the setting into effect. Otherwise it will create subfolder for every image.

Ok, I did not understand at first what you ment. This did work. Sometimes it downloads the thumbnails so you have to check the files after.
