That was a few of the last words you have ever heard from your father during the day of his disappearance. The incident left a huge mark on your family and your life, and you have done your best to move on from that point.
This is a story about Ethan’s life and his family after the collapse of Luxem, the company where his father worked before his death. You play as Ethan, gifted with a serum your father gave with his pleading tone, trying to uncover what truly happened and what powers were granted to you.
You will meet allies and enemies, friends and lovers, as you grow with your powers in Your legacy.

Note from Creator: Hey guys,I’m just explaining the change in direction for the future contents.
First off, I’ve removed the chapter system for the next 3-4 “chapters” and all of them will be grouped in an “Act”. Essentially making the previous 4 chapters (prologue, chapter 1, 2 and 3) the first “act” of the story.
Why did I change the system? Well.. there will be “variables” that persists in between “chapters” for the next act. They won’t affect the story too much(however there will be slight deviations on how the scenes goes).
Does this mean that there will be choices in the next Act? Probably not. But you’ll see a similar “relationship” system that will take account of what you did with each characters. So, if you don’t have enough “relationship” points, some actions like: kissing, sex, etc, Will be blocked completely.
Then, the next thing I want to say is the new acts after this will continue off from the “true” ending from each act. Meaning the next act will start off only from a set amount of points that is predetermined.
The amount of content produced will be similar, it’s just how the content are released is different. Don’t worry about that.

Charles Ward’s fiancée wanted to move into his place because their relationship had reached the next stage, not at all because her father was stifling her and she wanted to use Charles’ attic as her impromptu atelier slash invocation circle. While clearing it out for her use, he found a portrait of his ancestor, Joseph Curwen, with some writing on the back – ominous words that dragged him into unconsciousness as inhuman whispers tore into his mind. When he came to, the attic was clean.
Later that night, as sleep eluded him and the event replayed in his mind, he felt compelled to find out more about his ancestor. So began his investigation into a past mired in the Occult and the Old Ones taint.
Arkham is a dating sim game where the player, in the role of Charles Ward, finds himself in the midst of a Lovecraftian tale, with his sanity spiraling down in his obsessive quest to unveil the mysteries of his legacy.
But every nugget of information about his bloodline and the town’s mysteries will be hard-fought. How much is he ready to sacrifice? How ready is he to let others sacrifice? And, most important of all, will the stars be… right?
The game works on a 24 hour system, with certain actions available only at certain times. These actions will progress the day accordingly, so the player must carefully decide on what they will be doing during each time period – it’s up to him whether he’s going to focus on building relationships with girls or spend long hours studying cursed tomes. There are at least 6 endings to be found in the game depending on how it is played.

The main character in this story is Paul Rutter, a university lecturer who lives in Seattle. He stumbles upon an ancient relic – a tome – left behind by his late parents, once renowned archaeologists who traveled the world in search of occult artifacts. He soon discovers the Power of Influence via the book. Paul begins to experiment with this new ability around people, eventually influencing the female gender into performing erotic activities.
Gameplay
Subtle Influence is a game revolving around the corruption / mind control genre. It is a simple point-and-click adventure game driven by dialogue and story elements with slight role-playing mechanics infused in. There are different locations to travel to, characters to meet and interact at various times of day and activities that you can perform.
The Power of Influence comes in the form of the Corrupt feature. Use this on any of the female characters that you meet. Every time corruption is performed, the affected character gains 10 corruption points. Accumulate enough points (up to a maximum of 100) and you will be able to trigger erotic scenes and other events. Certain interactions and activities are based off your character stats, meaning they cannot be performed until you meet the minimum requirements.
There is a general storyline that you can follow, however choices that you make throughout the game will determine the type of ending you will receive as a result.

Story / Interaction

Gameplay / Mechanics
– You must now sleep to advance to the next day.
– You cannot sleep until it is night time.
– Bedroom actions can only be done once a day, and will advance time once.
– Bedroom actions cannot be done at night.
– Teaching and occult research can only be done once a day, in the morning, and will advance time twice.
– Teaching and occult research cannot be done at night.
– Phoebe and Tracy’s rooms are inaccessible at night.
– The school is inaccessible at night.
– The game should no longer lock up upon reaching maximum corruption.
– Phoebe’s conditions for peeking should now work properly.
– Tracy’s interaction in the bathroom should now work properly.
– Tracy should no longer disappear after corrupting and talking to her in the kitchen.
