The owner of depfile got arrested and the file host's servers were seized. Since this most likely means the definite end of depfile, the host has now been banned to prevent bots from posting inaccessible content.

This appears to be a direct result from depfile's refusal to remove child pornographic material and the owner using the service as a way to launder money.

I noticed a number of forums, that had 10's of thousands depfiles links on them, are now only showing "board maintenance". The rest of the forum is closed. They are very likely purging the forums of the all the links.

In my experiences, very few can draw and ACTUALLY maintain a line between what they should and shouldn't. And depfile looks like a step ahead, as they chose a dish which they couldn't digest! It reminds me of a clip where a python/anaconda was got caught and eventually killed as i couldn't move for swallowing something bigger than the snake itself.

Anyways hope the story of depfile will not just end up in mere arrest and minor punishment. I would rather love to see those pedophiliastic pervert rot in hell, though I also feel sad for those of its client who are truly innocent and have already invested enough time and resources in building their database with depfile. Luckily i am newbie in this world.
