I have tried to download from Depfile but can't reach it. I have tried to go to my files and can't even get to the site. Anybody have info on this?

second day down now.. They never openly communicate with their customers, anyways. A year ago most of their servers were down for over 10 days, no information, either.
But maybe the admin of this forum knows more, they seem to communicate with their big affiliates and board admins.

Their servers are allegedly taken down for child pornography investigations. I say allegedly because I couldn't find official information.

This is the official Dutch police website with a page dedicated to the take down but it misses a date or press information links: https://fts.politie.nl/depfile/. I don't think the Police have taken over the DNS system and domains yet. It looks like that link is a placeholder to be shown when people visit depfile in the future.

That's crazy news. Not that i have anything to worry about but it's still horrible news for the one click hoster scene in general. Depfile was the only host i knew that had 2 year old links still working while all other file hosts would have deleted those files a long time ago....

Well just today on the Dutch news they said they grabbed a huge CP network with a dozyn servers worldwide with more than 50.000 paying members...just fucking sick...

It appears depfile didn't do enough to combat child pornography and that attitude got them taken down. The owner is also suspected to have laundered money which actually may be the primary reason he got arrested.
