Erin began her professional acting career when she was spotted by an LA talent scout while doing community theater in the Dallas area. Immediately after graduating from college, she moved to Los Angeles and began studying her craft.
She received her BA in Journalism with a specialization in Advertising and Marketing from the University of North Texas. While at UNT, she was captain of the university dance team, president of the Advertising Association, member of the Dean's List and the recipient of several writing scholarships for her essays on food and cultural arts. It was during her internship at the multi-billion dollar advertising agency, DDB Needham that she realized her true passion was the pitch - performing for the executives. Out of mere curiosity and extra time, she began doing community theater and national commercials out of Dallas.
Even before UNT, Erin was performing. She attended Kilgore College and was a member of the prestigious Kilgore College Rangerettes, the world's first collegiate precision dance team. It was with the Rangerettes that she was able to perform in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, as North American ambassadors in the Chin-Gay Chinese new year celebration in Singapore, The Cotton Bowl, and various other special events around the country. During her summers, she traveled the country teaching dance camps to high school performers.
Most recently seen in the hit CBS drama, Cold Case, Erin starred as a famous 1950s pin-up model who was shot through the heart and became the subject of the “case.” She has a recurring role on the new Joss Whedon FOX series, Dollhouse. Erin recently starred in the upcoming feature Bitch Slap, an intelligent homage to the grindhouse films of the 60s, which features appearances by Kevin Sorbo and Lucy Lawless. Also this year, she was part of an ensemble including Jeffrey Combs in the horror film Dark House. She can be seen alongside Martin Lawrence in the Universal Studios film, Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins. Erin was a series regular on the second season of Dante's Cove, a supernatural soap opera shot in Oahu, Hawaii and currently the number one show on the Here! network. Her other television work includes Star Trek: Enterprise, The Bold and The Beautiful, Passions, CBS's Threshold, and Charmed, in which she guest starred as Rose McGowan's alter-ego! Her various film projects have allowed her to work with many professionals in the industry. Other films include the festival darling Rolling with Sanoe Lake (Blue Crush) and A New Tomorrow with Victor Williams (King of Queens) and Orlando Jones.
After spending a summer studying Shakespeare at the world-renowned London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Erin was cast in her first Equity play in Los Angeles. She played Elsie "Bird" Kipling in the critically acclaimed North American premiere of
David Haig's London hit, My Boy Jack. This show received critic's pick by the LA Times
and LA Weekly. Her stage work includes Lady Macbeth in Macbeth and Queen Gertrude
in Hamlet with the Santa Susana Repertory Company. She concurrently played Helen in
the world’s first stage adaptation of the 1968 George C. Romero horror classic, Night of the Living Dead at the Stella Adler Theater. She was able to utilize her dance skills in Paul Ben-Victor’s original play, The Good Steno, at the Hayworth Theater in which she played a 1940s model from Brooklyn and a trashy, obnoxious gold-digger from Alabama. Her starring roll as Phoebe Craddock in Bernard Slade's Romantic Comedy won her unanimous praise from critics.
Erin trained with UCLA's Ed Monaghan in Jeet Kune Do and weaponry, including short stick, long bow, sword, knife, hand-to-hand combat and guns. She also trains regularly with her champion kickboxing instructor in the boxing ring. Erin has a love of languages and is currently studying French. She also has dedicated a great portion of her time with charities, volunteering at the LA Mission and spearheading the Here! Network team for AIDS Walk.
