I'm having the white screen issue with VRipper-X, using MAC OS high sierra. Unfortunately i'm not a coding savvy person. Appreciate the guide for dummies solution version.

    I have a question:

    Lets see this tread:
    https://vipergirls.to/threads/290118...t=STRUMPFHOSEN

I only want to download some pictures of only one thread and not all 900 pics. How can I do this?

    i'm solving it like this:

1 - Close vripper and Open terminal an do:
    defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE
    killall Finder
2- Go and find a hidden file named vripper with white icon on users/library or so, i don't remember it very well
3- get te file from a time machine backup of an earlier day and overwrite it
    4- run vripper

Works great for a little while, but then unfortunately freezes my whole system on a fresh Mint 18.3 install!

I hope this continues to get developed...

In the meantime, I've found that the latest windows Vripper runs well through wine... so all is not lost.

Re: VRipper X (MacOS / Linux)

Is anyone having problems downloading sets from imx.to? When I manually click on images in the set, they load up fine, but when I load the link in VRipper X, all images fail to download, and the log is full of entries like this:

    01 - [object Object]
    02 - [object Object]

    etc

I'm using the 64-bit snap package on Kubuntu linux

    Thanks

I have OSX High Sierra and installed the latest version of VRipper X-0.0.3. For hours I have not managed to make it work, I'm left with a gray window and it does not work. What can be done?. Is there an alternative to VRipper for Mac ?. Thank you

I can confirm that I have the same error.

Also as PLenilunio has mentionned it seem as though it is tied to a timeout issue, but when relaunching the same download, the same error happens.
Can someone help at all ?

VRipper is trying to download REQUEST_CONCURRENCY number of image in parallel. some image server kick you out if you exceed what _they_ think is reasonable... so if the parellelism setting is higher than their limit the download will fails past a certain point.

How to 'implement' this: download the source repo, patch the file as indicated, build the app (read instructions) and use that version. That is the beauty of open source software: you _can_ fix/improve the software, rather than post wishes and hope for the best :-)
How do patch? How do build, where are the instructions, where is the file?
It's been some time, maybe someone did the trick and would share? Thank you
