Samantha Bentley came from the UK to do work in the adult industry. She likes extremes. She likes pain. I had fun taking her around LA and snapping pics. It was a cold night, but Samantha was in the mood for ice cream. We shot some of these at the Millenium Biltmore hotel which is downtown. Saki Kishima is an all-natural wonder from Japan. I photographed her in San Francisco, where she is currently paying her way through art school with modeling work. Saki's looks lend perfectly to fashion and fine art nudes (whatever fine art means), and thus, she is very familiar with those genres. It took a while, but eventually, Saki warmed up to my own style and ideas. A clear sign was when she took the initiative to quietly open her legs in the cab for me to photograph her underwear. Whether the cabby noticed what was going on in the backseat, I cannot say. If he did, he must have also had his stealth mode on.

If you can't tell, Saki Kishima has an elusive personality. She came off as shy at first, but quickly proved she could throw caution to the wind. We made our way down to the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. It is a heavily visited tourist destination and is often used for wedding photos and the like. If you look closely, you can see a lucky bride in the background of images #61-63. Naturally, I thought it would also serve as a perfect setting for the all-natural Saki. Todd Rundgren's "I Saw the Light" is the song in the bonus video. Go Sports!

Sabrina Reyes is a fascinating individual. She kicks ass in tennis, even plays on the collegiate level. We met online and I quickly sensed Sabrina's burning desire to challenge her inhibitions. I am not sure if it is due to a repressed upbringing, but Sabrina seems eager to play with the Devil. We narrowly escaped danger at the public library. Our impaired focus made it easy for a lady to sneak right up on us. I battled the idea of heavily censoring this adventure for Zishy publication, but because the experience was rare and completely authentic, censorship lost.

This is Rose Belford's room. It housed an interesting collection from her childhood. She just recently turned 18 in these photos. I could quickly tell that Rose has a unique personality and most likely, a disregard for what the popular kids find 'cool'. Just the same, it was apparent that as Rose was coming of age, her beauty and sexuality was in bloom. While I photographed the redheaded teen, I felt quite fortunate to obtain such an intimate glimpse into her world--both past and present.

I met Rose Belford at her home in Torrance. We decided to mosey on down to a local park even though we were running out of light. A conspicuous-looking ice cream truck was sitting right across the street. No kids were out, it was a bit chilly; a poor business strategy on this seller of frozen dairy treats. Anyways, we stole some shots using it as a background. Then Rose showed me how awkward it is to balance on a seesaw and other fantastic positions. The moment I saw Romi and Raylene on another site, I knew they were something special. Just about every aspect of them is interesting. They are near 6-feet tall, thin, beautiful, entertaining, and adventurous. They were in Cali because they had an itch to take a road trip across the country. I am personally fascinated by the bond Romi and Raylene share. It seems there are no barriers between the sisters. In many ways, I regard them as a single entity, but admittedly, I will never fully understand their connection nor how it feels to hold such a closeness with another individual. Hence, my fascination. Security told us to stop taking photos about five minutes after arriving at the Getty Villa. So we continued, and we were told to stop again. And we continued, then we left. After we were essentially kicked out of the Getty Villa, we jumped on the PCH and headed up towards Santa Monica's Muscle Beach, which just so happens to be the original Muscle Beach. I think of it as a playground for adults. There are ropes, rings, bars, and beams for all your acrobatic needs. Best of all, the equipment is free to use. Romi and Raylene showed off their flexibility, flashed the camera a few times, and worked up an appetite. I decided to take them out for the best falafel they have never had. The Hungry Pocket in Santa Monica has their falafel ball recipe honed to perfection. Supergrass' hit, "Alright", is the track in the bonus video.

I was first fascinated with Romi and Raylene because they were so similar. I pondered what it must be like to have a duplicate of myself to walk with through life. But after spending time with the twins, I am more fascinated by their differences and how these two individuals work together as a team. In some way, all humans are twins with quite similar DNA, right? We can either let our differences separate us or we can focus on the similarities of our journey.
