But what is the sense of Your Upload when you change the original Pictures.I think the people who collects Met-Art High Resolution stuff want the original picture without compressing them.Why high Res when reducing the Size by compressing the pictures.Im also able to compress with ACdsee .But i won´t do it because people likes original stuff.An if a picture set is to large in my opinion i won´t upload it.

You're on the spot, and everybody should know :

- Pics on host sites are not original, they are already compressed. Shooted with a Nikon, Canon, Rolleiflex, Hasselblad or whatever…they weight from 30 to 50 Mb and downsized for public use.
- Host sites are using specific compression to keep the picture weight artificially high, trying to prevent free reposting, but quality is not better. It’s like wind inside.
- If you make compression in good terms (Acdsee or so..) you won’t see the difference with “originals”.
- Some sets are about 1000Mb, who can enjoy such wasted time for upload/download and wasted place on hard disks?

It is a real subject to discuss about the weight of sets growing higher and higher with no added quality. Hope it will help.

I saw your upload and i asked myself?

"Why did he resized the pic Set and than claims(Ok you did it not really) its the original High Res version." That was my only Problem or question.

The guys who are collecting High Res Met-Art Stuff wants only the original from Met-Art Admin Uploaded Sets.
