Just get a copy of Adobe ImageReady.
There's no process to making them. It automatically converts videos into gifs.`

Edit: Um... so yeah, I can't figure it out, but what do I do to convert a video? Open? I opened a .mpg, but can't figure out how to make it animated gif...
Btw, is this suppose to be in the "Hardware & Software" help thread?
The video turns into a gif right when you open it. Pretty simple .. All you gotta do is go to "Save Optimized" to save it.
Oh also , when it previews the video right after you open it, you have to use the slider to select whatever segment of it that you want to convert into the gif. The shorter you make the gif, the easier it will be to manage. That's about it.
