Mexican singer Aline Hernández (born Erika Aline Hernández Ponce de León) made her debut with the release of Chicas Feas in 1991, soon becoming a fashion model and backup vocalist for Gloria Trevi. In addition, Hernández debuted as an actress in the soap opera Al Norte del Corazón, playing the role of a pop singer called Dalia, and hosted Corazón Grupero, a TV show based on Mexican music videos. In 1998, Aline Hernández published La Gloria por el Infierno, a controversial book about her time working alongside Gloria Trevi and producer Sergio Andrade.
