    Badinage Gap Year Project

    Gap Year Series by badinage

I'm Jason from London, England and I make my living taking photographs of young women and selling them on the internet... at least that's what I used to do.
Back in the early 2000's it was easy money, loads of college girls wanting to make a little extra money posing especially for the internet something they'd barely heard of, not for top-shelf magazines where their friends might see them. So I'd set up a site to sell the pictures in the "teen" niche (which as we all know means anything from 18 up to as high an age as you can get away with pretending is youngish). Business was now hard (and not in a good way) any girls with the inclination was now doing OnlyFans not coming to people like me, and the others were scared of the exposure - no more saying that we'd block visitors from their own country to keep their privacy... VPNs had messed up that line of persuasion.

So I took a holiday to an exotic place with a beach and cheap beer. It was off the beaten track and rustic but it was very cheap. While I was there I noticed that it was a popular spot for world travellers to stop off, particularly young women taking a gap-year before starting college or settling down. They were relaxing, happy for a little extra spending money and obviously adventurous types. "Great potential models!" I thought. So I revived my old website and went to work handing out my cards. Now this couldn't get too sleazy, I needed to build a reputation - one tale of bad behavior would be be round the community like wildfire and I'd be on the first plane home. So, work to their comfort levels, make them happy and word would get around and eventually hot girls would beat a path to my door.

I'll post the pictures with a few comments. I'll post their ages because they obviously all had passports available to show me but not their names (or even names that are not their names): make your own names up!

    * badinage here, I'll copy set 1 from my "Projects" thread just for completeness. I foresee this thread getting some traction based on the reaction so far. If you want to discuss it please post on my "Projects" thread and we can keep this one for the pictures. I'll consider doing zip files for each set if there's a demand. *

Reposted so all the sets are in one thread

A 19 year old from London so we had a connection, she was a lot of fun and made me think that there might be a future in this!

She was totally cute and 18 years old with a slight accent to her English that I couldn't quite place. The beach was not as deserted as we'd hoped and she was slightly distracted by a man wandering up and down... perhaps he could see what was going on. Anyway she came good in the end. These are rendered at 2K as an experiment.

    Gap Year Series 03

I think I struck lucky here. The thing I love about Swedish girls is the way they have blonde hair and blue eyes but can get a beautiful tan without burning. I'm sure she must have done at least some basic modelling before because she would just put herself into classic modelling poses. She was also a good sport because I did some initial test shots and loved the dress but lets just say there was a little more hair than was aesthetically pleasing down below, I was happy to give her a little extra to have the issue sorted (I would have offered my own services but I do want to carry on with this job!). Maybe I'll post some out-takes later. Anyway two absolute babes in the previous shoot and this one. Meanwhile I met a couple of more "girl-next-door" types in the bar last night and arranged a shoot with them back there tomorrow morning, so something a bit different next time.

    Gap Year 04

After the babes now more of a girl-next-door vibe. So these two turned up rather nervously to the beach bar in the morning. It's always quiet then as no-one here seems to start early and it doesn't open until mid-afternoon, though it does go on late into the evening. They soon warmed up and I like to think I brought out an exhibitionist side in them. I plan to do more hanging out at the bar as the parties get pretty lively.

Clever conceit and narrative! Good to see some original thinking!

Down at the bar with my camera I met this amazing ball of American energy. A girl who wouldn't walk if she could run who wanted to show off her cheer-leading skills. So that made for an interesting evening!

    Gap Year 6

A German traveller who was dressed to go adventuring. I thought the only thing she was missing was a good hat, so I brought a bunch along to the shoot. Rather than just settle on one she thought she'd experiment a little. Still it doesn't detract from her body!

    Gap Year 07

It looks like my attempts to get a good reputation around here are finally bearing fruit. I received a message from a Korean young woman who apparently is thinking about funding her gap year by setting up an Only Fans or similar and was looking for a photographer. A slight red-flag when she said Korean because you don't always know what they mean when they tell you their age. Traditionally and uniquely they start counting at 1 when you're born and add a year on 1st January - so you could have a baby in December and it would be classed as 2 years old in January! You can see where this is a potential minefield for me. (The Korean government only changed this in 2023 for official business). The good news here is, of course, that everyone is carrying a passport so I was able to check her actual date of birth - and helpfully for us she's definitely legal to work with. So we met up at the bar and decided we would do a trial run...

    Gap Year 09

On my way back to the village I came across this hitch-hiker, she needed a lift or some local money to pay for a ride to the bigger towns up the coast. I could provide the money for just a short time of "work". She was in a rush, so I just found one of the quieter street to shoot a quick set to share with you. She was a little shy at first but soon got into the swing of things - then she was off on her way up the coast in one of the local taxis.

This is a beautiful set. I absolutely love it. I have a weak spot for barefoot women wearing skirts or dresses, so this is just for me. But I also like the progression between the pictures, actually turning them into a story. Good work.
