But it isn't ten years ago and I doubt most people these days even knows what VHS or VCR stand for. We live in an age where these videos are bought in HD format so the only reason we are getting degraded video quality is because teeneros is being a douchebag and intentionally compressing them. I can sympathize if he/she doesn't have good internet and if that's the case, a simple disclaimer stating they had to reduce the quality would prevent people from wasting time downloading these. Not to mention the fact that people will download these then reup them to other sites which only floods this low-resolution trash around the net - effectively making the HD versions much harder to find.

Besides, you act as if this is the only place to find these videos. I assure you, it's not.

Does anyone make .csv's anymore? It was common on usenet to have a digital record of all the files of a particular model from a particular site, or her complete collection, in their original release form, so that one could compare a download to see if it was original or not. I have found that he higher the level of authentication of the poster, the more likely it is that the file is legit. The more anonymous the chan, and at the extreme p2p, the less likely it is that the file is true and legit w/o prior verification. It never hurts to decode a partial download early in the game to ensure what one is getting. A TM vid under 400MB should be suspect immediately. That being said, I do compress mine down to DVD or 720 quality for use on the tablet where vid files that run 120MB/min are pretty much a waste of space. But I also rename those vids accordingly so as to not overwrite my originals or post them. Tenoros may have posted the vid as they got it, but they should have known it was not release quality and should have indicated that fact.
