The VRipper is an image ripping tool which has native support for MacOS, Linux and Windows. It's being developed by viller. This program (VRipper) is primarily meant for people running MacOS and/or Linux. It just happens to come with a Windows build and can be run together with the Viper Ripper.

I'm on a Mac OS X 10.10 - working well for the most part. It did freeze once but the next time I started it it was fine.

Needs the ability to PASTE into the URL field. I can type there, but no copy and paste.

Needs the ability to BULK clear finished items. Needs to be able to have a timeout setting so that if a website stalls, it will abort.

Needs the ability to save current session.

But it works! And I'm happy!

Windows version
I downloaded the program archive and unzip it in a subdirectory of Program Files. After starting Vripper.exe received a message:

This verison of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) verion of the program.

OS: Windows 7 SP1 Enterprise (32 bit)

Thanks but as MAC users I think we know how to copy & paste it's just that it doesn't work (cmd+V) with VRipper so we have to enter the url manually...not a cool thing but i'm sure this will be fixed soon

I'm having the same issue, running OSX 10.11.3.

Other than that, I'm really pleased to have a native Mac version! So far, I'm not seeing any problems, but there are some features of the original that I'd like to see in this version:

* File names -- The file names are all ending up with a sequential prefix ("01 - ", "02 - ", etc.), even with the "Original Filenames" option. I'd like to be able to turn this off.

* Bulk import -- there are times I like to save off a list of URLs to be downloaded later and would like to be able to do the same here.

* Ability to pause/start/restart downloads - there doesn't seem to be a way to pause/start/restart individual threads: I've only seen a button to start all.

* Automatic "Thanks"

* Ability to launch the downloaded folder by double-clicking on the thread name in the download list

I have following priorities:
1) Discover major features you guys need that I did not
2) Focus on image hostings support
3) Automate updates/releases
4) Minor features, fancier ui, more settings

I've fixed copy/pasting bug. There was no menu configuration... And made x32 builds
