Yes. It's build on electron framework. It's a mix of chrome and nodejs. Also it explains size, 99% of it is framework itself.
Soon I'll hide debug in releases. Also you can reload main window (cmd+R/ctrl+R) if it lags or bugged for some reason.

Needs the ability to save current session.

Session is saved into your home directory in .VRipper file. If you reopen app and all previous tasks are gone, it's a bug.

I've used a Mac since the Apple II - I did try it, but it didn't work on the first version.

First, many many thanks. I have been asking for this since I joined and I can not say enough in appreciation. I won't be able to really test it out much till the weekend, but I did install in on my MAC laptop this morning and it worked fairly well. It hung on one download, but restarting the Ripper resumed the D/L. There were a couple of oddities with the UI, but I'll be more specific this weekend when I spend some time with it. But most importantly at this point, I just want to say thanks.

Downloaded it, (Linux 64), but can't figure out how to use it. Unpacked it and clicked on 'VRipper'. Get big square panel. Tried to paste in URL of page I wanted to rip but it doesn't allow right-click. Any suggestions?

Hi, you could paste with ctrl+V, also you can turn on "clipboard monitoring" in settings, it will read urls from clipboard.
Also I've took notice that some users need context menu =)

Thanks. Been right-clicking for so many years I'd forgotten about ctrl+V. That worked great! Turned on clipboard monitoring but couldn't get it to do anything. Probably user error again. And yes, a context menu would be nice (especially for those of us who have forgotten the keyboard commands).

This is terrific. Thank you. No problems with copy/paste on my mac. Worked great as soon as I downloaded it. It will take a bit of time to learn some ins and outs of it but thanks for the app and work.

This looks really good! No issues here so far! The user interface really suits Windows 10, it would look great as a UWP (Universal Windows Platform) app with a little cleaning up
