Hosts that require users to disable adblock to use their free download services will never be allowed at ViperGirls. Ultimately, when the uploaders discover that using this host will earn them nothing, they will stop using uploaded, and uploaded will cease to exist.

I do still use them for one particular multi-part weekly download, and I have noticed that the burst speed is now up near 800KB/s as opposed to being 60-70KB/s which was much closer to the static speed limit of 50KB/s from before the introduction of the ad-block block. The availability of bandwidth suggests that their user base is starting to drop off. Perhaps the next VG poll should be to guess when UL will go tits up.

I'm guessing UL won't be back soon. They have now added a new sort of pop-up: a noisy ad on the download page itself which you have to sit out during the waiting period. If you want to kill the ad you have to kill the page itself, or turn off the volume of your PC. Obviously they want more users, but throttling or increasing the download speed should not be directly related to the number of users. If it is then they are not managing their services correctly.

After that, they find themselves stuck on this forum because of advertising, it's a shame!

As (pervmann2000) I never had a problem with uploaded, they always made me my payment within 3 days.

I hope this story will advertising be regulated because it simply disable Adblockup for uploaded with any ip, it's easy!

Disabling adblock for whatever reason makes your Operating System vulnerable to whatever the host gets paid to include, or whatever hackers get to include. Hosts requiring disabling protection systems will NEVER be allowed at ViperGirls, liked or disliked.
