imx.to downloads don't work
This is a great tool, thank you for developing it and sharing with us.
There is one feature I would like to see. I whish I could make a list of users to ignore - VRipper would just skip all posts made by these users.
Because there's quite a few people who keep (for whatever reason) posting 1 or 2 images (copied from the original post) down below in the comments. And it makes downloading these unnecessarily more complicated and annoying, since these threads won't get automatically added to the queue and I have to manually deselect spam posts/comments first.
It's not a big deal, just a QoL idea.

CarmenPorter, I said this in another thread concerning this same topic, but I'll get into more details here;
The issue is not with IMX itself, but related to the DDoS Guard checksum needed before opening at least one image. So if you have a way to download after manually performing the check, then you should be fine. (e.g. using ImageHost Grabber or IHG on the Pale Moon browser after opening at least one image to perform the check.)
To manually perform the check, you need to open at least one imx hosted image, so the browser can perform the DDoS guard check. After doing that, you should be able to download from that browser no problem. That is why it is advised to use an image downloader extension specific for that browser. As I said earlier; e.g. using ImageHost Grabber or IHG on the Pale Moon browser after opening at least one image (to force the check) in that same browser.
Sadly, you can't manually "force" (as far as I know) the check on VRipper tools such as vripper 3.5.4 or 6.4.0. That is why those rippers are not downloading sets from IMX.

One way around this for now is to not copy/paste the actual link of the entire thread to your ripper, but instead copy/paste the link of the first post only (or the post you want to download) in your vripper.
example; https://vipergirls.to/threads/15215500-Av...ost247652293 instead of https://vipergirls.to/threads/15215500-Av...gust-22-2025. That way the ripper will only load the images of the first post and omit that one image from the 3rd post.
However, I can get why this method is not an actual solution to your problem, since this method would still require you to open the page and copying the link from the 1st post. (And if you're like me, I'm guessing you're not actually opening the pages, but rather right-clicking and copying from the main preview page to save time.) That's why I said that it's a way around your other problem for now.

This approach did not work for me. I tried downloading from this link. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I can't get the latest version of VRipper to download anything at this point. I am on a Mac.

I updated VRipper (6.3-6.5.7) and it seems to be working much better. Cant tell if this lasts, but I have already downloaded a number of archives that were blocked the last days. Just to be sure I leave the max dls per hoster on 1. Better be slow than blocked^^
If the people maintaining Vriper read this, Thank you very much.![]()

Ooopsie iam2diezel. I hadn't notice your post from a few days ago.
I'm not sure. I'm using 3.5.4, as I'm more accustomed to it's gui. I tried using 6.4.0 once, but quickly switched back to 3.5.4. So I'm not sure about late versions. Alls I know is that the DDoS Guard prompt right before opening your first IMX hosted image that's suppose to happen with a fresh browsing session doesn't trigger with the VRipper. That's what's hindering the downloads from IMX. Like I said earlier, my personal workaround for this is to use an actual browser extension to download the images on the page. That means that you'll be downloading the pics from the browser itself, not from an external app, software, program, exe, or whatever. Hope this makes sense. This way you can manually (this is the key part) trigger the DDoS check (something VRipper doesn't do), and then let the downloader (that's linked to the particular browser) rip the entire gallery. In other words, if you don't trigger the DDoS check, you can't open/access/download the image. And (as far as I know) the VRipper doesn't perform that check. Hence, no check, no access, no download. Hope this makes sense. Are there some settings I need to change/update?

Seems like the name image.i.imx.to is not resolving to a host, any longer. Which is the cause of the failures.

Not only is it working, but viperripper is now finally downloading the galleries that were failing and put on hold for a couple weeks now... hopefully it's not a fluke though.

I have problems with the latest update of Vripper 6.5.7 and imx, I posted below the link that I was trying to download and the error that Vripper gives me.

They're serving images through image.imx.to now which bypasses cloudflare/ddos-guard. They've recently requested to rewrite imx.to thumbnail links on VG to image.imx.to for that reason and it looks like fullsized images are also passing through image.imx.to. At a guess, ripping content should become much easier.
