IMX came back up but had to go through the DDOS Guard test to prove that I'm human. I wish IMX would sort themselves out.

Re DDOS protection: go through the check which takes about 5 seconds before starting the upload. If you don't then it won't upload. Simple as that.

Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR


If I wait a bit, sometimes the files become available, sometimes not


Since IMX.to has been such trouble lately, will there ever be a point where vipergirls will just stop allowing users to add galleries using IMX.to? All the other hosts seem to work fine that people use here, only IMX.to is a headache nonstop.

Just curious if this has been discussed by the admins?

If you're using firefox, END_OF_FILE_ERROR seems to be a error tied directly with that browser, because that happens of the result of dropping packets during handshake connecting to the site

I know most of you have your reservations regarding imx, personally i didn't had any problems since the latest crash (i even have issues with the uploaders available on this site but i still use the host), but just to keep in mind that if it wasnt for imx most likely almost half of the images of this forum older than 3 years would not exists. Going straight to facts, i'm re-uploading content from TeenMegaWorld that was uploaded 2 years ago and its already gone, and not everyone is willing to keep uploading the same stuff/keep his threads alive over and over (at least the human posters lmao)

Im using the Gallery-DL program, which I think occurs outside of any browser, I just noticed when I get the error :Warning! DDOS guard challenge - (403 forbidden) in the program,

if I then go to the actual vipergirls page to check the links, the thumbs will not appear at all, both on Chrome browser and firefox

If you are able to see a broken thumb link, then:

Chrome gives this error:This site can’t be reached
imx.to unexpectedly closed the connection.

and firefox gives the error I gave above: END_OF_FILE_ERROR

so it happens with both browsers randomly. If you check back later, sometimes the thumbs will appear, or maybe only half, or still none at all.

And of course I understand the logic of keeping old imx.to links already here on vipergirls, but going forward it would make sense to stop using IMX.to until IMX.to gets straightened out

Still not working in the United States (worked great for one day recently), but setting my VPN to Czechia does work for now.

It doesn't matter whether VPN works or your ISP works, the fact that they need to check you for DDOS every 5 minutes, is absolutely infuriating.
If I upload long photosets (200+ images), it stops uploading in the middle of it. I need to open a new tab, check with DDOS-guard and then I have to upload the rest again.

IMX is being a bit temperamental just now regards downloading - I use ImageHostGrabber aka IHG with Pale Moon and that is usually super-reliable but just recently it's returning errors for some IMX threads, yet for other IMX threads it is OK. It keeps returning: 'Request aborted! HTTP status Code forbidden' - sometimes a thread will download OK first time, or it takes several attempts sending the job to IHG, and sometimes it will download some of the images in a thread but not others. I have yet to work out any rhyme or reason to it.
