I tried downloading from imx using ViperRipper portable.

This set downloaded without a problem. Other sets I tried would download a few photos and that was all. It didn't matter whether I was logged in to ViperRipper or not. The results were the same.

It's probably a cloudflare issue.

I have this kind of error when I upload via the web.. after a few good images uploaded it shows an error for the following ones.

Not sure if uploaders are tracking this thread, but at least for me, this just got fixed and now i'm able to upload without any issues (VUploader still cooked and not sure if it will come back with this new API method)

I've had the opposite experience. For the past week I've had no issues (aside from payment). Today the host fails to process a 6MB single image.

"Upload failed: Image requires too much memory to process"

Even with VPN? Regarding your payment, i don't really know what to say that its concerning to say at least, i would send a mail again, regardless of how much it is or what destination have you in mind, they should pay.

it is. after i checked the cloudfare box the download work fine for me with the old VRipper
it is the same when i am logged into my acc.

Just for what it's worth, after a prior day or two of decreasing incidents of, let's call them "hiccups", imx.to seems to be working perfectly the past few days for me. For anyone still having trouble bulk downloading entire galleries from imx.to, it's likely just a matter of tweaking your downloaded app's settings.

Vripper is very comfortable so its my first choice on VGirls.

BID is my go-to at the moment. I was heavily into Vripper for a long time, but some months back it stopped working. I scoured all the support threads and found good info and others with similar problems, but the all the suggestions and fixes didn't work. For a long time, BID didn't work well with imx.to (at least for me), but I found suggestions of how to configure BID to work with imx.to and it did the trick, at least up until the recent changes a few days ago. Then BID stopped recognizing all imx.to links/pics. Out of pure desperation and for lack of any other options, I deleted 100% of the scripts that were necessary to grab imx.to pics in the past. Suddenly, BID and imx.to played nice with each other once again. I know that things are complicated and there are so many things that can go wrong over trivial matters between the server side and end user side. I'm just glad to be able to gobble up great pics again.

This must be great for IMX honestly; ...massively reduced automated (legitimate) traffic.
I'm wondering if there even was a "hostile" DDoS, ...enough scrapper traffic could look like a DDoS to a small host.
That said IMX has implemented cloudflare's strictest level of DDoS-Guard and other cloudflare protected sites work with my older browser/os that was blocked on IMX.

There are lots of things going on behind the scenes.

Let's oversimplify it:

Vipergirls have millions of imx.to URLs here. Whenever you open a photo set thread with 150 photos hosted on imx.to, you are making 150 requests to imx.to servers in a second just to display those thumbnails on your screen.

There are always at least 7,000-9,000 users online at any given moment (you can check the stats at the bottom of the front page)

What's Going On?

There are currently 9107 users online of whom 2477 on alternative domains. 551 members and 8556 guests.

Most users ever online was 49,549, 19th June 2025 at 00:56.

Say half of them (4,500) are visiting or downloading photos which are hosted on imx.to. Average photo set includes 150 images. This means 4,500x150= 675,000 requests are being made at any moment. And Vipergirls isn't the only major adult forum which is using imx.to.

So, i wouldn't say there isn't enough scrapper traffic

****EDIT- I enabled my VPN to connect through Germany, and now it seems VRipper is working again, not sure if this will work for everyone, so please if any members can try this out if they have a VPN, and let us know if you are able to download again.

Im also getting the "maximum empty line limit exceeded" for a week now. I have my settings at 1 concurrent download per host and 1 global but still nothing will download.

Ive been a longtime user of Vripper, so now that it doesnt work at all with imx.to, is there any hope of the program being updated to mitigate the errors? Or do we think that using Vripper is now kaput forever? From what the moderator Roger stated above, it seems like cloudflare has totally blocked us and the issue is not with Vripper but with all the requests coming at imx.to...

I think imx will eventually find the sweet spot for their protection settings. We just have to wait for a couple of days and VRipper will be just fine
