Only some of the imx.to servers are overloaded and are very very slow to respond. If you can configure request timeouts in your downloader, set them to a low number and increase the retry count. That lets the downloader give up on a slow connection earlier and you'll hit one of the fast servers sooner on retry.Originally Posted by cofer123

Once again, just going to point out that if imx.to and/or it's host service are under some kind of concerted ddos or other web-based attack, perhaps because of their geographic location, then it not only stands to reason that their servers are still going to be (very) slow to respond to download requests, but that the more folks repeatedly try and retry to grab the content they desire from the imx servers, the more likely it is that cloudflare will simply regard you as part of the problem and thus will simply tempban you.
The problem with that being, if you get tempbanned by cloudflare too many times, you not only risk a permaban from imx.to, but potentially also from all other cloudflare-protected sites, which does include VG.
So please do exercise a little bit of patience when downloading from imx, at least for the time being until we get some kind of update here on the situation from imx's owner.

Been really slow for 2 days now it is really annoying that so many members her use it. Might be a good idea to block this image host for 2 weeks till slow speed is sorted out there is not point to use it now.
Images on 2 or 3 servers are loading like 20 to 25 slower right nowA lot of full size images are not loading again this happens every 8 to 10 weeks

I don't think imx.to will ever fix this issue as it is an empty box registered under 173.245.59.203, a Cloudflare server in USA (CA). The galleries and corresponding images are not on this server. The company that manages Imx.to purchases space and virtual servers from third parties, perhaps sub-clouds that have servers who knows where and that we would never be able to find out.
Indeed it is true, the fluctuating performance has been going on for years, well before the war in Ukraine, but Ukraine itself has little to do with it as there are no servers there from which imx.to buys space. Perhaps you are more likely to buy it cheaply from servers in India and Bangladesh where network conditions are bad.
We must admit the clear evidence on the lack of a real will on the part of imx.to to fix things as their market is based on the mass of data that circulate, certainly not on the galleries that are here.
So it only partially depends on them, especially if DDoS attacks are in place (which I doubt real).
Likewise, no one in this forum can fix this as they have no control of imx.to. There are also other aspects including the fact that Vipergirls may have a commercial agreement with imx.to which involves bandwidth limitations etc. This could be demonstrated by some downloaders working perfectly and others being limited (e.g. vripper ). Then there is everything related to Cloudflare etc. In short, it cannot be understood.
The only thing to really do, as noted by others, is to be patient and have everyone currently uploading by imx.to switch to another provider and wait for the problem to be fixed.

I never complain anybody any other images host allowed here 2 reasons why complain
IMX it used 4x more than another image host here
This garbage image host has like 3 to 4 months a years of problems no other image host that long of problems other image host sort out there problem in 1 to 3 days. IMX about 1 to 2 weeks a month 2 or 3 servers are always moving images to another server they seem to be using cheap crappy servers.
IMX of does not have the stability like Postimages Imgbb or IMGbox
I have 105k images on Imgbb as a free user for 2 1/2 years never any problem with the image host

It's closer to 9x. I just did a spot check of the first page of posts in the Softcore Photo Sets section. I counted 57 posts on page 1. 51 on IMX and 6 on vipr. IMX may not be a hit with downloaders but it is very popular with uploaders.

This is a thread dedicated to imx.to support. If you wish to discuss the merits and compromises of other filehosts, there are more appropriate places to do so.
As we are all aware, many users utilize imx.to on a daily basis here. As such we wish to keep this thread open for both them and imx.to to address and resolve concerns in a civil, respectful & timely manner.

I have been seeing something that flags my antivirus on the first individual picture of the day that I view on IMX and I am just wondering if anyone else sees it, too. I am running Windows 10 with Palemoon and Ublock Origin and my primary antivirus is MalwareBytes. All running the latest version. I mouse over new posts and if I see something interesting I open the post in a new tab (old habit of mine). If I like the set I download it. If I want to look further I open an individual picture in a new tab. If the set is hosted on IMX when I open that new tab for the individual picture I get a warning from Malware Bytes that an ad has been blocked but the picture still loads. It happens on the first pic of the day for IMX but only the first one. All others open with no issue. It's always the same domain with similar IP addresses. The details are in the attached pic. This started a month or so ago.
It's not really a problem so much as a curiosity since my AV catches it and life goes on. It could be a false positive. it may have nothing to do with IMX but that's the only host I see it on. I was just wondering if anyone else has seen a similar issue.
