The constant refrain about the internet is:

higher, FASTER, further, better, bigger...

But what I see is that the internet, especially file and/or image hosting, is getting slower and slower.
Everything is being artificially slowed down, blocked, throttled, limited, and restricted.

Is this really what we can expect from the future of the internet?
