Sure enough, waiting since Jan 17. Cashed out for a quick fiver and nothing happening. So here's a theory:

probably most here are familiar with the forum Porn-W. Those guys used to promote imgchili a lot, with a promotional bot which appeared after every post. Recently they changed their format slightly and stopped doing that. The thinking is that imgchili took a hit.

It sucks becaust they were reliable for a good while - many hosts have come and gone in the lifespan of imgchili... just sayin'

Hm, don't think imgchili was that dependent on any one forum, besides, most forum posters were already with imgchili. The most they would have done was pick up newbies who would have ended up with them anyway by word of mouth or just watching other posters.

I own and operate a successful message board where I permit members to use PPC hosts in a certain section on that forum.

My last Imgchili payout was recieved on December 8, 2017. The following week, December 13th, 2017 I requested my $11.92 earnings. I waited and waited (A good week and a half including numerous emails to Wally and Jonathan, which like many others in this thread, those emails were unanswered.

The $11.92 states on the Imgchili site it was paid but it never was. With-out further hesitation, I closed off the Imgchili PPC section of my forum. It was a shame because many of my members had other unrelated content in those imgchili threads.

In reference to Wally and or Jonathan not being able to discuss legal action ?.. (If there really is legal action which I doubt greatly) A simple "We are in litagation and under a Court gag order" breaks no laws. It would be more honorable than ignoring your members as you watch your traffic and profits drop like a safe.

In my personal opinion : I feel they are riding out the remaining server time until it expires / pocketing their advertiser fees then once the servers doomsday date arrives, there will be a slew of dead imgchili links.

Alright, so...going forward, Imagetwist is still about and seems reliable - although i dont dig the $20 minimum Paypal payout.

Any other hosts that seem like they will last? I think i heard IMG.YT was decent - dont know too much about 'em.

Been using img.yt for a year and a half, no problems. Acidimg seems like it's run by the same person(s). No problems with them either.

Feb. 20, 2018 - Affiliate Program

The affiliate program will close on March 1, 2018. We are no longer able to run a profit or break-even while at the same time making IMG.YT compliant with the betterads.org standard. Coupled with the increasing number of visitors using an advertisement blocker, which is percentually increasing faster than the overall traffic is, the prospects were rather grim anyway.

The next affiliate payout will occur on February 23, 2018 while the final affiliate payout will be made on March 2, 2018. Please make sure to request your payout before that date. If you were waiting for Skrill or Payoneer to return we advice you open a BitCoin wallet instead.

IMG.YT will continue as a normal image host from March 2, 2018 onward with fewer ads. Though at this point even without affiliate costs it remains to be seen how much longer this can be sustained. ACIDIMG.CC, which is ran by an affiliate of IMG.YT, will suffer the same fate.
