Re: ImageHostGrabber & Pale Moon Support Thread

    good day all

when i open IHG i use the select image option even if i intend to download all pics. i have found by doing so. and i see the small preview of the image there is a greater chance of the download completely successfully the first time. i have had experiences where i used the download all option and no images were downloaded or there were downloads error messages. only then i re-did it with the select image option and all images downloaded. it seems that the sites themselves have an effect on IHG and it is a hit or miss situation. good luck!!

Indeed - using the trick of opening one image in your browser first seems to do the trick for certain hosts.

New here just downloaded pm & ihg and work fantastic, is there a way to download a page with multiple posts and save each post in separate folders? Thanks

Unfortunately there isn't, tho it might help if you go into the IHG options which you can find by clicking on the down arrow to the right of the IHG button on the address bar - if you don't see it there then see the first post in this thread:

IHG should place a button on the address bar - if you don't see it then click on the View menu go to Toolbars / Customize, (or rt-click on 'the blue part of the menu bar anywhere to the right of 'Help' and choose 'Customize' - you can then drag the IHG button to where you want it (I have it to the right of the downloads button).
Once the options dialogues is open, click on the File Saying Options tab, and click 'Prefix filenames to reflect page order' this is essential as a pageful of images may have some images with identical names. You can then change that setting back when you're done.

That way it will be easier to manually place the sets into their own folders. If you want to quickly rename the images in a set, then the FastStone Image Viewer has a very powerful tool to do this.

    I hope that helps.

    Fresh IHG 1.7.0.6
The "Download Progress" pop-up appears after the download is complete. It hangs for too long - 20 seconds. How can I reduce this time?
On the older IHG 1.7.0.4c - the pop-up shows only a few seconds.

Go into Options - General tab and make sure that 'Suppress close download window confirmation', 'Close download window when all downloads are finished', and 'without delay' are all checked. Restart Pale Moon.
