This means the app cannot reach vipergirls.to in a normal way due to a block of some kind. You may have to use a VPN or specify a proxy in the app.

it is now no longer working for vipr.im
but it's working fine for imx.to or turboimagehost. can't say about pixhost or imagebam as they are already banned in country/

Yeah, Vipr.im and Vipper Ripper aren't playing nice with each other anymore.

My rollercoaster of emotions on the matter:

There's another thread on this topic here at the end/in the latest posts:
    https://vipergirls.to/threads/5620019-vipr-im-affiliate-image-host

Hoping all use of Vipr.im is suspended until issue is resolved, but I think some users have a vested interest in it.

with the hosting itself imx.to a lot of problems recently ..... pixhost, turboimagehost, imagebam, imgbox - work fine.... but personally, my opinion now work best - pixhost, turboimagehost!

Re: Viper Ripper (Windows Gallery Ripper)

Picking an alternate download tool will probably work OK, but I guess only for now?
I applaud people finding alternate tools that work and listing them here, I'm just a bit concerned for the future is all.
(...if "concerned" is the right word with everything else going on in the world right now)

As other posters have said in the thread above - the image host site blocked VR as it was flooding their site.
V has sent detailed server level changes to the image host, server changes that should alleviate the issues.
The image host hasn't, as far as I know, commented on or tried the changes out as yet - meaning VR is still blocked by them.

If/when we all swap to a new download tool, then I guess that the same thing will eventually happen...
We all use it, it floods the host, they block the tool...
Rinse/repeat until we're out of tools.

Might we run out of tools? Well, guess its possible - it things stay the same and the image host keeps blocking the current favourite download tool.
If that happens, then we'll be a bit stuck.

Anyway, just my idle ramblings on the situation
(...and hopefully I've not just written a load of old bollocks )

caerlesbi, your reasoning is absolutely logical and correct - now it's just up to them because everything possible on the part of the administration of this forum has already been done.

This was my argument all along. Them blocking VR is NOT the solution. They've asked that the VR programmer put limits into the software. This can't be done because he is no longer around and commisioned to do this. V already made it clear what they need to do on their end. Since all of that information has been posted, have they said or done anything? NOTHING! Not even a "okay we will try that and see" or something. Radio silence from the customer care team!

There is a bigger issue at play here. By vipr.im blocking VR, everyone is going to jump ship to the other programs like vripper. So then they will get flooded yet again, just using an alternative tool. So if they block that, this is going to be one hell of a cat and mouse game. Another bigger concern is that people are downloading VR, pasting vipr.im links and then discovering that they don't work. So now expect a flood of users everyday with less than 5 posts continuously asking "when is VR going to be fixed?" in this thread or "why is vipr.im broken?" in the other thread! We can't ask uploaders to post elsewhere because they earn from the links and it's not fair to them. If they choose to upload to vipr.im then we have to respect that.

I for one have jumped ship already. I'm using vripper 3.3.2 and it's actually really good. Unfortunately there was no way to import an xml file of links. That would have saved me a lot of time moving over from VR. I had to add the links 1 by 1 but got there in the end. I left a few none vipr.im links still in VR and will just grab those at another time. My gallery links are piling up and with vipr.im teams head in the sand, who knows if and when it will ever be fixed?

Re: Viper Ripper (Windows Gallery Ripper)

    1. the most annoying thing in this situation is that the representatives of the hosting company have stopped contacting and participating in the discussion at all....
    2. users began to switch to other programs that normally work with hosting and some journalists (special thanks for this) began to give material to other hostings ... but there are still a lot of cases, as before, when the set is repeated 2 or even 3 times to this hosting .... so that soon the use of other programs will most likely lead again to a large number of requests that will not be liked by the hosting representatives again, and the situation may repeat itself, which has been repeatedly written here before.

I have the same issue, a lot of links with no time to pass to vripper. It would be a good idea to Vripper to allow import of xml or even text plain file with the links.
