You are on the wrong thread.
VRipper is different from Viper Ripper
Viper Ripper is the old ripper program offered by the forum, no longer maintained.
VRipper is my own project and am currently maintaining it and is cross platform project.
You can run VRipper on any platform that support Java and Google Chrome.
So you can technically run VRipper 3.3.6 on you ARM based PC, but Java is not yet officially supported on ARM64 Windows, it is however compatible with ARM64 Linux (A raspberry pi is capable of running VRipper, Surface Pro X, not yet)
You can read this for more info:
https://devblogs.microsoft.com/java/annou...windows-arm/
There's already some builds for JDK on ARM64 Windows by Microsoft
https://github.com/microsoft/openjdk-aarch64
You can download it:
https://github.com/microsoft/openjdk-aarc...-aarch64.zip
If you want to experiment building it for the surface, I'll try to walk you through it here, a tech savy won't have much issue doing this, but i don't know your technical level.
If you feel it's too complicated, you can just ignore this, I will however list the steps anyway for anyone else interested to build for ARM64 Windows.
What you need to do it to install JDK for ARM based processors and latest version of maven (3.x.x) on your surface.
As I mentioned before Java is not officially supported yet, so you need to download Java from the link above.
After doing that extract the content of the zip file into C:\ for example.
You'll end up with something like this
This is not enough, Windows and other programs needs to be aware of the location of Java.
We need to set Environment variables, for this you need to:
Update Path variable and add a new entry so windows know where to look for the java executable.
Open start menu and search for "Edit the system environment variables"
Click environment variables.
Double click on Path
Add new entry for JDK
Make sure java is installed
java -version
For you it should show version 16 not 11
Now install maven.
I recommend installing it through chocolatey.
installing chocolatey, it's fairy easy
JUST MAKE SURE YOU RUN POWERSHELL AS ADMINISTRATOR
We'll start by installing chocolatey first, then use it to install maven after
Follow the instructions in the link, make sure you run the commands in powershell admin
https://chocolatey.org/install
After installing chocolatey, install maven with the following command in powershell as admin
choco install maven
After that make sure maven is installed
mvn -version
Version may not be exactly the same, it shouldn't matter
You then head over to the VRipper project https://github.com/death-claw/vripper-project, click Code then Download ZIP.
Extract the zip somewhere, open a CMD terminal inside that folder then run this magic command
✨ mvn clean install -Pelectron ✨
The build will take some time and will download a bunch of dependencies for the build, if it fails try relaunching it few time, sometimes it fails because of internet issues.
It may also not work because of the ARM64 windows thing.
![]()
When successfully completed you will find your application in vripper-electron\dist\win-unpacked
Copy all content somewhere else and start using the app.
DON'T USE THAT LOCATION AS A PERMANENT LOCATION, ANY SUBSEQUENT BUILD WILL PERMANENTLY SCRAP EVERYTHING THERE.
Good luck
PS:
Keep in mind that I never tested this because i couldn't, I don't have an ARM64 windows device, this may not work after all.
The Java distribution is not an official one, and may not work as expected, the app may not work at all or may have bugs, use it at your own discretion.

Despite all this confusion with hosts, which cannot be named ;-) I remain faithful to VR 2.1.2. I have only one question: this version stopped downloading from imx.to and imagebam ... I am on the forum using VPN (Browsec). Is there a complete answer to this problem without further ado?

I've already stated the reasons why V most likely won't be banning vipr.im, in the vipr.im thread. At the end of the day, the uploaders want to continue uploading to vipr.im so if thats the case you can't force them to use another hosting platform that they don't want to. Remember uploaders are earning money from it and this is not the only forum that they will post their galleries in. In addition to that, there are free and paid (pirated) tools that get around the vipr.im ban, so really there is no issue right now.
Technically, it's not file hosting, it's image hosting. All image hosting that I'm aware of, is free. You can look and download all the jpgs you want. File hosting is a different thing. Unless it's ZippyShare or MEGA, I haven't seen any others that are truly free to use with no limits on speed or download size. I know there are a bunch of obscure ones, however Zippy and MEGA remain the most popular. The purpose of this forum was to avoid the need to buy a subscription to a file hosting site.

Moved all "Bulk Image Downloader (BID)" related posts to a new thread (Thanks for the suggestion @DimsumDynamite)
https://vipergirls.to/threads/5991939-Bul...loader-(BID)
Please discuss BID related issues under that thread. Thanks.

I don't download much content anymore, but when I do, I drink Dos Equis. lol. But seriously, I still use the one portable version and it works fine on the few threads ( even full site rips, I just do 10, 20 sets at a time ) I'm sure though, I'm not running the full gauntlet of all the pix host sites used when doing it though. But it works for me on what I have downloaded.

Viper ripper is'nt working anymore for newer photosets...
the switch over to vipr.im sucks. pple don't use it properly to allow access to the images.
the hierarchy needs to be used for the images to be downloaded correctly. least as far as i can see.
lot of the errors in Bulk image DL and Viperripper seem to hang up on that.

Can you put a permanent link (Sticky) to the download link for VRipper and subsequent upgraded versions.
Thanks
