Imagine yourself on a deserted beach... naked... taking in the early morning rays from the sun just peaking it´s head over the ocean skyline. You gaze across the view as a figure... a man... emerges from the water. His olive skin illuminated by the sunshine bouncing off the droplets of sea water running all over his also naked body...
That was all Erika needed as inspiration for this beautiful short filmed during a sunrise in the Costa Brava. The couple of nudist early birds are played by Julia Roca and Bel Gris, returning to XConfessions once again (though for the first time as partners in a film) to give a very sensual and organic performance. Watching them roll around in the sand and sea was a lot of fun for them and a lot of fun for Erika and her team to film. I guess it was also an interesting view for a fisherman who passed by on his boat like three of four times! Julia and Bel are good friends in real life, thus the good vibes.
