Let it be known... Rapidgator is preventing me from downloading any files running a VPN. I've tried four different DL links and receive this message upon attempt:

When I haven't downloaded anything from there in about 3 weeks. Without VPN, I can download from them all day long...

Under the ("Acceptable Use Policy") for image and file hosts it states:

• VPN's and other anonymization services may not be blocked.

Perhaps they're trying to pull a fast one on what little privacy we have left...?

Free download or do you have a subscription with them?

for free downloads it makes sense to block IPs that have exhausted free quota. it's pretty dumb if they are doing this to paying members.

It likely counts downloads per IP address and if you're using a free VPN or even a premium VPN in some cases, it is very likely someone already downloaded from RapidGator using that specific VPN server.

If it's a blanket VPN ban however, then I agree, that's not good and should result in administrative action.

vipr.im is from imagetwist people, has monetization on. Literally same as imaimagetwist, just on a different domain.

Also, for whatever reason, imagetwist does not play well with bulk download utilities, while vipr.im gives no issues.

I just wish the URLs were able to be swapped. Once in a while, I run into content hosted at imagetwist, and wish I could just swap imagetwist.com with vipr.im in the URL and download it in bulk.

At present nitroflare.com can be used. The banned list just wasn't updated as we ran a nitroflare.com campaign last year. It's been updated now.
