Vipr.im should be the #1 used image host here it is 100x better than IMX

IMX takes 8+ min to download a set and when you click on a image to view it you have to refresh it like 6+ to get the image load this happen with 6 out 10 images these problems have not been fixed in close to 3 years now

And yet plenty of other users have had minimal if any problems using imx.to either to upload content to (before or since it became an affiliate) or to view/download content either manually or via an image downloading app of some kind.

And yes it's been a bit slow to view/download images via imx.to in more recent times, certainly more so than it has been in the past, but it does at least still work; and as has been pointed out previously, most of the sites current connectivity issues are very likely geopolitical in nature and are therefore way beyond the control of the sites owner and/or ISP.

I upload exclusively to imx, I have zero problems viewing pics on my own thread or other people's thread. I have not used rippers to download sets, so can't speak about that.

For me a pic doesn't take more than 5-10 seconds to load. I'm able to load multiple images simultaneously. I'm on a muti-hop VPN setup and have no issues uploading and viewing/downloading pics

IMX is offloading older images to archive servers such as 001, 002, 003.imx.to whereas new content is hosted on i.imx.to and downloads much much faster. I'm fine with it for the simple reason if by the time you download the set and its on an archive server than you clearly weren't in a rush and can easily wait whatever amount of minutes it takes to download from there.

As for performance in general, their IP's link to Russia and Ukraine which of course can be troublesome with today's geopolitical situation. Which is also why a VPN can improve speed so much. If as an American you use a proper VPN in Western Europe, that VPN can fetch the download much faster from Ukraine than you as an American could when connecting to Ukraine directly.

If you want the best speeds, grab a VPN server in a massive city near you or where an Internet Exchange is located. Just look at the Netherlands in that map and you'll understand why things are performing so well there. Anyway, you no longer appear as a consumer on the Internet but as a dedicated provider and these often have much much better peering. The exception is of course consumer services such as netflix which tend to peer better with consumer Internet lines and using a VPN for netflix could actually be detrimental.

There is no download option. If you click the "show gallery" option one of the image host downloaders may work.

If you're browsing the web for porn, particularly via third-party sites, image & file hosts, and forums, then you should have an adblocker app installed in your web browser as an extra layer of security in addition to whatever up-to-date antivirus/internet security software you have installed on your computer.

As for pop-ups while accessing content via imx.to, generally if you're accessing a lot of material in short order on imx then you should see a pop-up only with the first image you access and thereafter you shouldn't see any more pop-ups for either a short period of time during the same browser session or until after you next reopen your browser and re-access imx for more content.

If you're seeing a pop-up with literally every image you open via imx, then you either don't have an adblocker installed or you do but need to find a different one that actually works - uBlock Origin is pretty good/popular, though other adblocker apps are also available depending on your browser of choice.

yes, I have an add blocker (and I use Express VPN - although not all the time and depending where I surf). It's just that I was surprised to see some pop-ups on a image host recommended on this forum. I'm used to imagebam where it's clean and super user friendly (my opinion).

To be fair for the longest time IMX didn't have pop-ups either, indeed pop-ups have only very recently reappeared on that host, funnily enough since the russia/ukraine thing kicked off... Coincidence? I don't think so...

That is one of the good things about imagebam for sure, and why they are a useful host, even if they aren't compatible with some image downloader apps, as an alternative place to upload material from other more popular hosts like pixhost, imx, etc.
