    Pixhost appears to be working.

The DNS update may not have propagated yet everywhere. Some may be just slow to update if you use the VPN's DNS resolver or a VPN with your ISP's DNS resolver.

Try using google's DNS servers at 8.8.8.8 or Cloudflare's at 1.1.1.1

You can update your hosts file and enter the following to access pixhost.to if you cannot already:

    94.229.45.2 pixhost.to

Appears they either got kicked off of Cloudflare (result: protection was disabled, IP exposed), they forgot to enable the Cloudflare protection which is unlikely or everything works as intended and they use Cloudflare just for DNS hosting.

I am able to reach the Pixhost site with our without VPN after making this suggested modification. Still not able to access the Pixhost API for file uploads, but working on it.

To connect to the Pixhost API, I had to create a 2nd entry in my hosts file (shown below).

    94.229.45.2 api.pixhost.to

Once connected, the create gallery endpoint (api.pixhost.to/galleries) appears to be working (with and without VPN connected) but the upload image endpoint (api.pixhost.to/images) fails.

    Not giving up hope yet.

It also appears that even when connected to pixhost.to, only the shell of the website is visible. Image content is not loading. So the site is still failing in it's primary function, serving up image content.

If you're able to view image content, please let me know.

    Test link here... https://pixhost.to/gallery/SZZvm

    Thanks.

Geo, did you make the modification to your hosts file suggested here? https://vipergirls.to/threads/947563...#post171379089

If not, you will likely have to do that in order to connect to the site. But getting to the site and getting connected to the servers storing their image content, seems to be two different problems.

Agree, and I'm not suggesting this work around to anyone connecting to my site. First reason being, I assume 99.9% of my members have never attempted to run any program in admin mode, let alone modify the Hosts file.

I would, however, appreciate confirmation that others are seeing the larger problem. Hosts file modification is allowing connection to pixhost.to, but the site is not serving up image content and that problem persists. Confirmation, anyone?

    Thanks.

Confirmed, pixhost.to and api.pixhost.to working normally even after removing lines added to my Hosts file. Test completed while connected to VPN, my standard approach.

    Thanks.
