Pixhost: Connect failed. Too many connections.

I've been experiencing slow Pixhost.to connectivity and sporadically get the error "Connect failed. Too many connections." Has anyone else experienced this problem when connecting to Pixhost.to?

    Thanks.

Pixhost is not responding much at all today. Uploads just time out, etc. Looks like they are struggling with something.

Apparently there's been a whole load of ddos activity going around the interweb recently; perhaps pixhost and/or their server hosting provider have found themselves under attack these past few days.

That said, the site does appear to be up and running, but links are taking anywhere from a few seconds to a couple of minutes to open, and I doubt that any image downloading tool is going to try to grab a single image for more than about 30 seconds before it times out and moves onto the next image link.

Apologies for the late update on this issue, but Pixhost appears to be back to normal operation and has been for the past couple of days.

    Thanks.

Just uploaded 2 sets to pixhost, no issues, upload speed was normal.

Tested viewing/download access to various images in those two sets once they were posted here, once again no issues, pixhost page loading and download speeds were also normal.

On the off chance older pixhost uploads might be affected I then tested various sets on here at random going back over the past few years, once again no issues, all tested images loaded in just fine and downloaded at expected speeds.

At this point I can only presume if you or anyone else on here are experiencing speed/connectivity issues with pixhost it's either:

1: a browser settings/security issue on your own PC or
2: you're trying to download too many sets concurrently from pixhost with an automated image downloader app (all downloader apps should be limited to max. 2 concurrent downloads) or
3: your ISP is limiting your speed/access to the pixhost site for whatever reason

Re: Pixhost: Connect failed. Too many connections.

Thanks for continuing this thread with pertinent info. I shut down my ops on PantyhoseShareClub.com yesterday because Pixhost was not behaving well. I too tested this morning and opened things back up. I do uploads only and through a VPN that throttles the speed a bit, but when I have trouble it's typically on the Pixhost side of things. I'll return here to post again when I encounter problems, but today appears to be full speed ahead.

    Thanks.

It's been down for a while. I watch it closely, and continue to monitor, because my website relies on Pixhost for content delivery.

There don't appear to be DNS records associated with the domain which typically means the domain was deleted or moved from somewhere.

https://www.tonic.to/whois?pixhost.to they're busy with something though as the nameservers got an update today.

It'd be mildly hilarious if they forgot to renew their domain name at the registrar, which I suppose is very possible given the creation date of the domain.

Yeah, it's suspiciously close to the date, right on the money with a 48hr grace period, but at least it didn't expire expire.

Pro tip as a sidenote: use different companies for hosting and domain registration so there's no single point of failure or 'issues' when switching hosts.
