I just had a pop up that enabled full screen and prevented me from leaving. Had a fake microsoft help logo and a number to call. Had to ctrl alt del out of chrome. This host is decent but the pop ups are way to aggressive, and that is with uBlock Origin installed.

I have checked again and do notice some less than acceptable pops triggering. The host will remain banned now until at least the start of 2020.

Simple is not easy possible to control it, I have sent many messages to some ad networks to stop ads like it, fake antivirus warnings and other similar ads but after some time they simple return and after all with all that ads is not possible to pay just servers, nothing else!
All what I can say is that I`ll try to find way to control it, this ban until start of 2020 is not good way to fix this problem because 99% image hosts using SAME ADS like turboimagehost but that is not problem for you...

Was not getting ads with ad blocker and all was good until today. My antivirus software blocked an ad today and gave me the following warning:

That's great that you can register for a free account to avoid ads, but that doesn't excuse malware popping on ads for those who choose not to register.
Yes, it is true but you must understand that in most cases is not easy to 100% control any ad network and I understand owners of ad networks, even ad networks like google ads can`t 100% stop bad ads!
If I good understand your message look like you want to say that we force ads like this, that is not true! We stop to use some of ad networks because they have bad ads but for us is not possible to run image host like this without any ads and sometimes in some ad network they have ad like this and we will report this to ad network and thank you for details...

I just opened an image in this set and then clicked on it again to view it in the larger size. Immediately 2 pop-ups opened as tabs on my browser (Chrome) and my anti-virus started blocking multiple attempts to access my computer. These ads also bypassed my ad blocker (uBlock Origin) which are the only ads I've ever seen ANYWHERE on the internet since I started using it. And Tim before you say "all I have to do is register at TIH and all ads are gone", I shouldn't HAVE to register at your site to avoid aggressive pop-up ads and malware. I can find these same sets at a different forum that doesn't allow this kind of crap to go on. I've been using VG for 5-6 years now (was a regular contributor for a couple of those years) and would prefer to stay here as I think this site has the best layout, features and community. But if I have to keep going elsewhere to find sets that have been uploaded by TIH here, I may eventually just not bother coming back. I'm definitely NEVER opening another image hosted on TIH. Not only did my anti-virus block downloads coming from your host but also blocked applications trying to open. That's unacceptable!

I agree with grungehead above. I click on a image to see larger size & it over takes over my windows tab that has the VG forum open in & opens malware in it instead. And having to register is kinda stupid & people have still said even after registering they have had issues!
The host won't allow right clicking to download/save images. See this thread.
